WHY AFRICAN NATIONS WILL FIND IT DIFFICULT TO BE UNITED…
Proverbs 22:28
“Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.”
I listened to the Russia anthem, an amazing international anthem… what overwhelmed me about it was the verse “WISDOM OF THE ANCESTORS, WISIDOM OF THE PEOPLE”… this verse tells the entire story, life, values, culture, religiosity and spirituality of the Russians.
They treasured their ancestral wisdom, life, religion, spiritual and philosophy.
The Jew did same, in their music and literature and theology, they placed sacred importance on all their ancestors, even with their atrocities or evil deeds…
The enslavers came and gave Africans a book called sacred book…the Bible; indeed the sacred book is inspiring and in the very Bible it was written clearly “Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long…” but they gave us a different exposition about the verse…
The enslavers have always honoured their ancestors, their kings and queens…it is said that even the queen that aided John Hawkins in the first slavery business in African land, gave Leonard authority to exercise authority in Africa in the killings of Africa just to claim, get slaves and colonize, is believed to be in heaven alongside with John Hawkins and Leonard…these are ways people honour or treasure their ancestors BUT WHAT DID WE DO AFRICA?
We have abused our ancestors, called them all manner of names…we have put them all in hellfire and the aliens or enslavers are in heaven… In fact some children have rejected their traditional parents just because they are not Christians.
We must learn, change our views and start respecting and treasuring our ANCESTORS.
Proverbs 22: 28 is a command for ALL AFRICAN NATIONS…
Africans can only be sincerely united when we treasure our ancestors and the wisdom of our ancestors, because our ancestors all have same message for AFRICANS.
Wake up African Child!
